Privacy policy

Your saved content stays under your control.

Keeplen is designed as a local-first bookmark manager. Account, Premium cloud sync and shared collection links are optional features that you choose to enable.

Last updated: May 19, 2026 No ads No tracking SDKs

1. Information You Provide

When you use Keeplen, you may provide:

  • Bookmarks: URLs, titles, descriptions, images and platform information.
  • Collections: names, descriptions and the bookmarks assigned to them.
  • Account information: email address, authentication data and an internal user ID when you create an account.
  • Purchase information: Premium subscription status, Apple product ID, expiration date and related purchase status needed to unlock paid features.

2. Local Storage

Bookmarks and collections are stored on your device so Keeplen works even when you are offline. If you use Keeplen without an account, your content remains local to that device unless you export it yourself.

3. Optional Cloud Sync and Premium

Premium users can sync bookmarks and collections with Keeplen servers to access them across devices. When sync is enabled, the data needed for that feature is stored on the server and attached to your account.

Keeplen uses Apple in-app purchases for Premium subscriptions. Apple processes payments. Keeplen stores only the subscription information needed to verify Premium access, restore purchases and show the current plan, such as the product ID, expiration date, environment and subscription status.

If you delete cloud data or delete your account, server-side account data is removed. Local app data can remain on your device so you can continue using Keeplen offline.

4. Shared Collections

When you share a collection, Keeplen creates a long, opaque public token. The public preview does not expose internal database IDs or your account email. Anyone with the link may be able to view the shared preview until the share is revoked.

5. Metadata Extraction

When you save or refresh a bookmark, Keeplen may fetch metadata from the source URL, such as title, description and image. This is used to make your library easier to browse.

6. App Store Privacy Summary

Keeplen may collect email address, user content, user ID and purchase history for app functionality only. These data types are linked to your account when you use account, cloud sync, sharing or Premium features. Keeplen does not use this data for tracking.

7. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use advertising networks.
  • We do not include third-party tracking SDKs in the app.
  • We do not use your bookmarks to build advertising profiles.

8. Your Controls

  • You can create, edit, export, import and delete bookmarks and collections.
  • You can stop using cloud sync by signing out or deleting your account.
  • You can delete your account to remove account-related server data.
  • You can keep using local data after account deletion.

9. Data Security

Keeplen uses app sandboxing on device, HTTPS for network requests and authenticated API access for account features. No system is perfect, but the product is designed to keep the amount of shared server data limited to what each feature needs.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated as Keeplen evolves, especially around Premium payments, collection sharing and App Store launch. The updated date on this page will change when the policy is revised.
